Detailed Itinerary:

Day1 Chengdu - Jiami Peak

Pick up from hotel in Chengdu early morning 7am, and drive to the base of Jiami, use localtransfer to go up the camp at 3800m. hike the north route total 4-7km between 3800m and4000m.
Overnight sleeping in shared huts.

Day2 Jiami - Chengdu

Early start by05:30am for sunrise if weather permits, watch morning glow or sunrise thenreturn the camp before drive back down the mountain, total walking 3km between 3800m and4150m. Arrive the base and drive back to Chengdu by around 6pm. Tour ends.

 

Travel Tips:

 

1, This tour is most popular during mid June to early September when the mountains are full of flowers(when it will also be very touristy especially on weekends). Please be aware this tour is available all year round, with green mountains in summer time and clearer weather from autumn time, in winter this hiking is partially unavailable;
2,  If you want to have higher chance of good weather in summer please try do this from late August to early September. 
3, This tour will involve sleeping one night in shared hut or tent with very basic conditions.
4, Elevation of hiking is between 3800m and 4200m, Chance of having AMS is medium. 
5, The trail going up for sunrise is steep. You are recommended to pack headtorch, walking poles, walking boots, gaitors, water-resilient jackets and down jackets for this trip.
