Explore Chengdu Food Quarters

Explore the Food Quarters in Chengdu in one day! Visit the traditional parts of Chengdu while trying the best local Sichuan Food!
Detailed Itinerary

First start from your hotel in the morning by 9:00 o’clock and drive to Wenshu Monastery. Visit to the most important Buddhist Monastery in Chengdu before exploring the streets and start to try a bit of small snacks at Wenshu Fang. The Dandan Noodles, Sweet Noodles, Zhong Dumplings, and other local snacks can be found here in the restaurants.

After the visit in Wenshufang, continue to Kuanzhai Alley where you will continue your food adventure. The option for lunch is with flexibility that will either be more local food at Kuanzhai Alley or to try a hotpot meal at the neighboring Qintai Lu. You will be spending your noon time exploring these traditional blocks.

After Kuanzhai Alley drive to Jinli Street, the biggest old street in Chengdu. At Jinli Street you will see more local food stands, shops etc. You will spend 2 hours here when your guide will show you more places where to try local food if you are not full. Jinli is a place where you are recommended to stay longer if you are not bothered by the crowd.

After this, you will be dropped off to your hotel or anywhere in the city that you prefer.
