Luodai Ancient Town is located in the Longquanyi District of Chengdu City, 25 km east to downtown Chengdu. Luodai Old Town is one of the "Dongshan Five Markets" in Chengdu. It is known as "The First Hakka Town in Western China". Luodai Ancient Town is located at the foot of Er'e Mountain in the middle of Longquan Mountains (today's Longquan Mountain). Built during the Shuhan period of the Three Kingdoms, it is said that after the Han Dynasty, the jade belt of the master Liu Chan fell into the well beside the town so the name came from this story: fallen belt - Luodai. There are more than 20,000 Hakka residents in the town, accounting for 90% of the town's population.

1.    Hakka Village House Museum

The Hakka Tulou Museum, Lingnan District, and Hakka Food District's blog town has a total area of ​​more than 20,000 square meters, and more than 30 businesses will be settled in, including Nianhua, clay sculptures, bamboo weaving, etc. Though a replica of the Hakka Courtyard, this is an interesting museum to check out.

2.    Luodai Ancient Town Water Dragon Festival

The Liu family has lived in Luodai Town for 14 generations for more than 300 years. The Liu's Celebration Festival has been dancing dragons in the ancient town for more than 300 years. The Liu's Dragon Dance developed directly from ancient Chinese Dragon Dance. It has a long history and has been inherited within the family without interruption. Therefore, many of the most primitive procedures and simple rituals of ancient Chinese Dragon Dance have been preserved. Water dragons are played to pray for rain. The Hakkas love water. The wetter they become, the richer they become. Liu's Dragon has also become one of the most attractive activities in the Hakka culture.

3.    Food

Heart-Broken Rice Jelly, Wild vege-bread, stone mill beancurds, Swan eggs are the traditional food of Luodai. Street food also includes rose sugar, ginger candy, Zhang Fei beef, stuffed tofu, salted chicken, Luodai oil goose.
